House opens in the heart of Scottsdale’s Arts District
It’s an opening that was two decades in the making and once again all eyes are focused on the Valley’s own chef, Eddie Matney. Now Matney says it’s time to bring it all home. “I always wanted a small funky restaurant. The coolest thing about this place is that it’s really like coming to my home.” Matney said from his 3,800 square-foot eatery dubbed Eddie’s House.
The energetic chef promises to keep several of his signature dishes – such as his famous “bacon-infused” meatloaf – that have made him a culinary staple throughout the Valley for more than 20 years. “It’s the best of the past in the restaurant industry, coupled with my culinary visions and hope for the future,” he said.
